I love to do debate, sports, and play video games. Certain sports that I do is golf and soccer! I might not be the best at them, however I try to improve every single day. However, the main reason why I love debate is the overall thrill of doing it and competing!

I love to have fun teaching classes and I also am a very energetic individual. Sometimes, I love to just enjoy being outside, and I am very out going type of person. I am also more of an extrovert but debate is probably one of the only things thats making me stay inside.

I have been debating for almost three years now and I have won several tournaments, including a close runner-up in the Harvard and Standford Debate and the winner of the Standford Debate Tournament. I also regularly compete at Nysmith School Debate where I have racked up over 5 first place finishes and 3 runner up positions.

ABOUT WILLIAM
Hello! My name is William Yoon. I am the owner of the organization that you are seeing right now, Academiado! When I first started public speaking, I was afraid of speaking up or talking to a wide audience. I was a bit socially shy, and I only talked to the people I knew. However, even after weeks of practice, I grew and developed a good understanding of debate, and not only did it impact my social life. I created new friends with the skills I learned and had a fun time learning it!
I want everybody in the world to know that Debate is a topic that everybody should understand and be interested in. Not only does it have an extreme impact on your life after middle school, but it also can improve social connections and speaking.
